RigKept (“the app”) is developed by Salman Khakwani. This policy explains how the app handles your information. The short version: RigKept does not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal data on our servers, because there are no servers.

Data We Collect

None. RigKept has no user accounts, no login, and no backend server. We do not collect, transmit, receive, or have access to any of your information.

Data Stored on Your Device

RigKept stores the maintenance information you enter — your rigs, service records, photos, schedules, and settings — entirely on your device. This data never leaves your iPhone unless you choose to export it (for example, to create a backup file or a PDF, which you then control and share yourself). We cannot see, access, or retrieve this data. If you delete the app, this data is removed from your device.

Photos and Camera

If you choose to add photos (of your rig or maintenance work), the app accesses your camera and photo library only when you actively choose to add a photo. These photos are stored on your device only. They are never uploaded anywhere.

Notifications

RigKept can send you maintenance reminders. These are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device by iOS. No reminder information is sent to us or anyone else.

Purchases

RigKept offers a one-time in-app purchase (“Lifetime Unlock”). Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment information — Apple handles all payment processing. Please see Apple’s Privacy Policy for how Apple handles purchase data.

Third Parties

RigKept contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking software of any kind. We do not share data with anyone, because we do not have your data.

Children

RigKept does not collect any data from anyone, including children.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new “Last updated” date.
